今日1月26日は、ベネズエラ出身の指揮者グスターボ・ドゥダメルの誕生日。
1981年生まれですから、今日で42歳です。
とりあえず今日は、10年前に録音したチャイコフスキーの「くるみ割り人形」の全曲を聴きました。
組曲で聴く機会が多い作品ですが、全曲で聴くと新たな発見があり面白いです。
しかもドゥダメルの表現が、ストレートで純粋な感じが心地よいです。

熱狂を呼ぶ天才指揮者ドゥダメル待望の2年振りの新譜は《くるみ割り人形》全曲。ディズニー映画『くるみ割り人形と秘密の王国』に合わせ、オリジナルの《くるみ割り人形》を手兵ロサンゼルス･フィルハーモニックとのライヴ録音で発売。映画のサウンドトラックでも指揮を担当しているドゥダメルによる話題盤。ドゥダメルとロサンゼルス･フィルハーモニックとの10周年の記念盤でもあります。
